Saying “Thank you” just never seems to be the right answer in some situations. My husband’s passing was expected and not a shock to me; you might say I had prepared myself in advance to deal with my emotions. But, it turned into a horrible experience when his wishes for his remains, that we had made 20 years ago, fell through. It was like getting hit in the face with a Mac truck. I was suddenly forced to make arrangements that I never ever thought I would have to do, but thank God, I picked Brewer & Son’s organization to deal with. What an awesome resource I found in these wonderful people. After being married for 50 years and all of a sudden have this unbelievable burden thrown in my lap, they were quick and efficient to deal with all the concerns and made my day of shock, grief, and disbelief a pleasant and memorable experience. They dealt with my burden immediately and found a resolution that I never could have come up with myself. Barry Brewer, Emma, and Chase went over and beyond anything I could ever imagine when it came to my husband's memorial service! I had never experienced such a devastating loss as that of my beloved husband and was lost as to what I needed to do. After going to another funeral home and being treated by "used car sales" type tactics, I was blessed to find Brewer and Sons. Barry and Emma were awesome and made me KNOW that I had made the right decision coming to them. The day of the service, Chase, our driver was wonderful and made the entire family feel at ease. I just want to say that i lost my daughter Shakira A.J.Garlock last year on October29, 2021 at her home at 4:30 am in the morning she lives in Brooksville, Fl.i live in PA I went down there and Brewer& Sons were so kind and understanding at this painful time for me my babygirl got cremated and her Godmother paid for the cremation and 2 charm heart necklaces the charm had her actually fingerprint on it and on the back when she was born and when she passed she got me one and her daughter one and i and her daughter we never take it off she was only 39 years old she left behind 5 of my grandkids the baby was born 10/20/21 my daughter loss her life 9 days later, The baby is doing good she wasn't suppose to have anymore kids but she did because of the rare disease she had Neurofibertosis Tumors that grow in the Nervous System you can only get through one of your parents and her father has it their is know known care for it, They were so kind in the transformation of getting the Customize Urn and the Charm heart necklace and her death certicafte to the furneal home in Pa Wrights Furneal Home They called me to inform me what was going on they kept me up to date on everything.Thanks to her Godmother she paid for everything This Lady Has Always been a Saint and Priceless Person in me and Shakitra's Life and her family included.Please Pray For Her 5Kids and My Family and Her Godmothers Family and her True Friends and The Kids Father as well Thank You And May GodBless YOU ALL

A little over a month has gone by since my beautiful mother passed away at the age of 99...just three weeks short of her 100th birthday. She was an amazing woman and my best friend. I wanted to wait to post this note so I could get the tone exactly right. I do not have the words to properly thank Barry Brewer and his entire team from the Spring Hill location for the care, the compassion and the support they gave to my brother and myself as we faced her loss and as they provided guidance on how to move forward when we were frozen to the controls. From my first phone call to Brewer and Sons everyone treated us with the utmost respect as if our personal loss was the only thing they had to deal with in the world. All the arrangements were so tastefully and elegantly handled. Barry gave generously of his time to help us in our decision making and to encourage us to always think of Mom's passing as a chance to yes, grieve but also to celebrate her amazing life with joy. When I was reluctant to make up prayer cards, Barry had them made up with the most beautiful picture of my mother on them and the most fitting words on the back. I will never forget this caring gesture. I want to single out everyone on the staff who answered the phone, to helping us sign paperwork , to explaining next steps and for giving us a feeling of calm and peace. Thank you to Ronda, Todd, Mary Ellen, Tammy, Rose Marie and very specially to Draven who made my mother look so beautiful and elegant at the last. Thank you thank you for all the little touches, for the million boxes of Kleenex, for remembering that my mother wore glasses, for understanding that pink was her favorite color and for your gentle handling of our very fragile selves as we began the grieving process. Recently, my good friend's son passed away unexpectedly. From the moment I called and spoke to Michelle Van Vliet she assured me that Brewer & Sons would be able to assist me. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure the family's needs were all met. She was immensely compassionate each and every time we visited the chapel, and that was at least five times...funeral not included. She even made changes to accommodate everybody on the day of the service, including climbing onto a chair to hang a flag at the grandmother's request. We would recommend Brewer & Sons.

It’s been a few weeks and the calm has come for me . I wanted to take some time to appreciate , and recommend brewer and sons . I could not have been happier with their professionalism , mannerism and all around service . They handled everything completely and went above and beyond . They did not treat me as a customer , from the minute I spoke to Michelle on the phone , I felt comfortable , like i was talking to a friend I’ve known for years . I Worked with a few different people from the Tampa location and brooksville location . Michelle , Kenia , and draven specifically, and I couldn’t recommend them more . They actually made me laugh on more than one occasion during this process . I went to see my brother before the service , and also at his cremation and they made it extremely easy for me under the circumstances . They also helped me cope and deal with my brothers sudden loss after the fact , which is not easy to do for anyone let alone complete strangers . The staff at brewer and sons has made me want to get into this business and give closure and comfort to others . I highly recommend brewer and sons and all of their staff to handle the hardest thing anyone has to do . Above all , I appreciate them more than anyone right now ! I’m so happy they weren’t cold , superficial and overbearing . They did everything and more than I expected ! They took care of my brother better than anyone could have . So Thankyou so much !!!

Dear Kenia and Michelle, I want to thank each of you for making a tough day just so very smooth and easier to manage. I am glad that my father chose the Tampa location of Brewer & Sons to handle both my mother’s (2007) and his recent services (yesterday and the entire week before). I was with him when he did that back in early 2007, and have since presided over both my mothers’ and his memorial services. Brewer & Sons made it so much easier, not to have to think of everything myself. I want to express my thanks to Jenifer Stewart for her prompt response to my concern over a missing grave marker. I only get down to the Clearwater area every 5 years or so and had not seen the marker for my Aunt Bertha Valentuk for many years now. I mentioned this to Jenifer last week when I was there. She wrote down my contact information and, the very next day, she had located the marker and emailed me a photo showing that it was back in place. I would like to thanks everyone at Brewer & Sons especially Rose Marie and Amy. My mother-in-law took a turn we knew she was nearing the end. Dad (96yr old) thought all the arrangements had been made but they weren’t. I contacted Brewer& Sons and spoke worth Amy. She researched that we were enrolled and said Mary Ann would be happy to come to our location. She arrived on time and was professionally dressed and in her manner. She showed compassion towards Dad who was about to lose his wife of 64 years. After mom had passed a staff member at Brewer & Sons contacted me with a request for further information; which saved Dad any emotional stress if they had contacted him. My sister and I were tasked with planning the funeral of our father. Neither of us had any experience in this arena and were grieving the loss of our father. We met with Kathleen and she guided us through the process and made this far easier than we expected. Funerals are never a pleasant occasion. No matter how unpleasant, it is still part of the cycle of life. Funeral Directors and their staff can and do make a major difference for the family. Recently, with the passing of my Aunt, I met Barry Brewer for the first time. From my very first meeting and throughout the funeral process, I felt very comfortable, being surrounded by Barry Brewer and dedicated members of his funeral staff. Thank you for everything you did for my Aunt and for me. I will always remember, the white glove greetings and the releasing of white doves. It turned out to be a beautiful day.

My mother was buried at Bushnell National Cemetery, and my father had plans to be buried there also, having served in WWII. However when the new Cape Canaveral National Cemetery recently opened up in Mims, Dad decided he wanted Mom closer (he lived in Melbourne). Dad died suddenly and unexpectedly on March 17 (St. Patricks Day, Mom called him home to be with her Irish family). I made phone calls the next day and by the grace of God, and a lot of help from Joy, at Brewers funeral home and Colleen at Bushnell we were able to have Mom transferred to Cape Canaveral to be buried with Dad 10 days later. I understand this process can take 3 months, so it is astounding that this happened. Joy was marvelous to work with, immediately emailed the paperwork for my sister (in Melbourne) and me (in Spokane, WA) to complete, notarize and send to Bushnell. When the time came to transfer Mom, Barry was on vacation (hope you found great powder in Colorado for that ski trip), but Mr. Brewer (Pat) , Sr. oversaw the disinterment and accompanied Mom to Mims (Cape Canaveral). I was not able to meet Mr. Brewer at the time, to tell him how much I appreciated his firms excellent work, but it such a wonderful feeling to be able to be at the committal pavilion with Dad and look over across a small area and see Moms blue coffin waiting to join Dads. It was such a peaceful feeling that all the friends and family were able to enjoy at such a sad time. Thank you all for your compassion and professionalism in making this miracle happen. I most sincerely appreciate you.

Under past scrupulous owners, my parents prepaid cremation services. Upon my mothers recent death we were not able to locate any of the five contact numbers we had for American Burial & Cremation at the Dunedin address. My father was stressed enough and did not need more. We had to choose another Cremation Service Company who took the time to contact Brewer & Sons regarding our prepaid plan and they immediately found our contract from the past owners files and proceeded to work with the other company to transport my mother, work with us and complete the arrangements as originally made. They were professional and friendly throughout the visits. Compliments to Barry Brewer and the newest member Ron for guiding us so efficiently. I know there was an extreme pricing difference from our plan paid in 1995 but they gave us the same quality of service as if we had purchased it from them today. My sister Sidney and I just got back from visiting the cemetery (Laurel Oaks at Historic Masaryktown Cemetery), and I just had to write you to let you know how beautiful everything is looking out there.
